The DSL can provide help with the technological infrastructure for digital projects, training in digital scholarship methods and tools, consultations for project development, connections to students and faculty with similar interests, and more.  For questions about consultations, workshops, equipment and space, community, or other topics, please email us (dsl@lsu.edu).

Consultations

The DSL team is available to brainstorm project ideas, discuss possible methods and tools, strategize project management, and locate or provide technological resources for digital projects.

Workshops

Director Lauren Coats is available to help you or your class learn about tools and methods used in digital scholarship. Topics include:

– Named Entity Recognition
– text analysis

Equipment & Space

The DSL has several computers and specialized software available for students and faculty. The DSL space in Room 25 is also available for classes, workshops, or events. If you would like to use the space or equipment, please contact us (dsl@lsu.edu).
